I don't really get the time to write articles these days, but here I am late one Thursday eve with a gap (a gap normally measures around 15mins!). I thought I would share with you a few goings on at Skyblue.

If you didn’t already know, Jane & I are now married (to each other that is!).  We tied the knot on 26th Nov 2007 in New York City. Working together as man & wife is totally excellent – and I wouldn’t give it up for all the tea in china. I am still the boss, mind you – although Jane may beg to differ!

Secondly, as of 1st Jan 2008, Skyblue Creations becomes Skyblue Creations Limited. No major changes really other than the Ltd reference and company titles. I will be Director, Jane will be company secretary.

Over the last 5 years, Skyblue Creations has been run, supported, managed and nurtured by one set of hands, mine – and with the introduction of Jane, and for a time, Ryan, the business developed into a faster, more streamlined machine. That machine now needs a body kit & a nitrous oxide fuel system integrated, so we have taken on 2 new members of staff.

Firstly let me introduce you to Mark Fernandes. Mark is a star… no wait… a triple star! Backend development is his speciality, with a touch of software design thrown in for good measure. It is very difficult to express how important it is for a small business to have solid structure - and Mark is a fundamental part of that core. Welcome aboard buddy – keep up the good work.

Our second contestant is Sebastian Crisp. A young designer with flair, passion & a hunger to learn.  Having completed his NVQ level 1&2 and with a degree in Graphic Design under his belt Sebastian is now itching to experience the commercial side of design.  He joins us in Jan 08 where his main role will be supporting me in every aspect of design. Welcome aboard soldier.
